WHO AM I?
When I was a kid, I grew up dreaming about making something of myself. I’ve always been attracted to understanding others deeply what was going on inside of them. I remember thinking at a very young age, why can’t we just be who we are?!? I have always consider myself the black sheep of the family.
Growing up, we moved frequently because of my dad's work. I was use to always being the new kid on the block and usually the smallest. Which means other kids often wanted to fight me to prove they aren't the weakest. A common problem for smaller kids. .
HOW CHILDHOOD CREATES A DRIVEN ENTREPRENEUR?
I look like I was half everyone's age and had a high pitch voice, I hated reading and had a slight dyslexia problem which made me an easy target and I was called weird often.
My parents divorced when I was five, and I was sexually abused by a new family member when I was 6. I remember vividly asking my mom if she had to choose between my step dad and us kids who would she choose? Obviously I felt confused about life and what love meant!
Believe it or not, those specific events became the catalyst of my entrepreneurial life. I decided at that moment if it was meant to be, it was up to me. I was the only one who was going to take care of me.
LET THE MILLIONS BEGIN!
So I started my first business shoveling snowy sidewalks, second business delivering newspapers, third business mowing lawns and finally ended up supporting myself working in our peach orchards until high-school was over. Eventually in my late twenties, I created and built a multi millionaire company. I had it for about 12 years.
I was wealthy, I had the car, the loft, vacation homes in Aspen, traveling the world buying clothing, eating the finest food and of course the parties aka bottles in the club ~ I thought was at the pinnacle of my life . . .
